why attempt in being someone's fantasy
befitting monstrous desires
like a puppet
intellect is not a skill
the craft of words
shaping the letters
with a specific place and meaning
it is an emotion
a tangible feeling written with the strokes and swirls
that of which many have failed
why try to make yourself complicated and complex
heaving great burdens of profundity
when all she is looking for is simplicity

wake up smell the decaying rubble
under your feet
